Around London Photo Dump

Below are a bunch of pictures of our explorations around London.  The London Law Consortium scheduled a bus tour around London to provide students with a quick look at the main sights.  We were invited to join and enjoyed seeing London from the bus.  Caitlyn and I have explored the London Science Museum, Museum of Childhood, and the Horniman Museum while Josh was working.  We have also spent some time attending story time at our local library, gymnastics class, and walking around our neighborhood.  After Josh was finished teaching one day we met him and went to the British Museum which is just down the street from his office.  Enjoy the pictures!

When a British athlete won gold at the London 2012 Olympics they painted the mailbox closest to their house gold.  This one is by Westminster Abbey to explain why some mailboxes are not their traditional red.

Playing the xylophone at the Horniman Museum

Caitlyn loved the sheep at the Horniman Garden.

Planting seeds at the Science Museum.

Proudly completing the alphabet puzzle at the Science Museum.

"I'm making music!"

Action shot!  She just sprayed herself straight in the face at the water table.

Pounding it out with an Egyptian fist at the British Museum.

THE Rosetta Stone - amazing characters depicting language.

Warming up for gymnastics

Running back and forth (all pictures from gymnastics were pretty blurry...)

A renewed love - mirrors!  Here she kept telling herself that she did gymnastics.

Exploring textures at the Museum of Childhood

Building a tower and then...

quickly pushing it over. :)

Story time at the Museum of Childhood brought the book Dear Zoo to life.  Here is Caitlyn opening one of the parcels - a camel.

Coloring a spaceship

Decorating it with glitter stars

Practicing cutting paper

Checking herself out as a British Soldier

Dressing up like a cowgirl

If a play kitchen is within Caitlyn's eyesight she is bound to find it (and then not want to leave!)
